2010 Club Championship

Club Championship
September 3-6, 2010
 
$90 per player includes:
Three Tournament Rounds with Cart
Range balls before each round
Sunday Night Dinner
Awards and Prizes to Multiple Winners in Each Flight
 
The tournament will be open to all Cumberland Lake members. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any entry for any reason it deems appropriate. All competition shall be stroke play. USGA rules will govern play as well as local rules established by Cumberland Lake. The tournament field will be split into a Championship Flight and a Men’s Flight. All players with a 5 handicap or below will automatically be placed in the Championship Flight. All other players will have the option to compete in the Championship or Men’s Flight. You must play in the Championship Flight in order to compete for the title of Club Champion. Each flight will be split into A and B divisions based on the number of players in the field. The Championship Flight will play the Blue Tees and the Men’s Flight will play the White Tees. A Senior Flight and Women's Flight will be added in the event we have enough players signed up to fill each flight. The Senior Flight will play the Gold Tees and the Women's Flight will play the Red Tees. You must be 62 or older to compete in the Senior Flight. In the event of a first place tie in any flight, there will be a sudden death playoff immediately following play starting on hole one. All prizes will be given out in the form of Cumberland Lake gift certificates. The value of each gift certificate will be determined by the size of the tournament field. The calcutta format will be team low-ball during the final round. Teams will be chosen based on handicap and previous round scores by computer. Places paid in calcutta payouts will be announced before the auction on Sunday night. All calcutta winnings will be paid in cash.
